As Michael Niedermayer said "In the past you could go to a library and read, borrow or copy any book. Today you’d get arrested for mere telling someone where the library is.". We have to do something about it. Books and sharing is part of a free society. Technology should not be used to limit our freedom but to be used by people to improve their life. Forban is an opportunistic p2p software to independently share software with your local neighbors. In this session, we should its use to have a library that you share with your neighbors. The talk will be a mix of the hacking aspect of an opportunistic protocol but also how to share and improve the incredible work of our Russian friends at the Library Genesis.
Author rights law might be broken during the talk and the demo. That's the purpose of the talk, breaking the existing boundaries trying to improve our life.
